Over the semester of this course, my group members and I designed a blog which is composed of eight posts. To get started with this semester-long project, we crafted an 11 page proposal that went in depth for our rationale behind the topic, our target audience, demographics, geographics, and much more. We chose to research the concept of femvertising, which is the utilization of female empowerment to connect with female consumers in advertisements. Each post examined commercials throughout the decades to see how this concept evolved, showing how advertising industry shifted from using motives of fear to empowerment to drive female sales.
