January 2025 - December 2025

As Vice President of Brand Development for Madison Business Society, I helped run and design all social media posts, designed merchandise, and planned our Annual Golf Outing.

Social Media

I determined our target audience was those who were ages 18-24, attend JMU, and have an interest in business. Our posts highlight club events, accomplishments from members, and activities we provide for a fun and engaging experience.

I helped manage our Instagram @mbsjmu. I design all graphics using Canva Pro for convenience, and post weekly to keep our audience engaged.

January 2025- May 2025

I created a brand kit using our organization colors, fonts like Arial Nova (bold) and Times New Roman Condensed to create a cohesive and sleek look that reflects our club.

Since starting in January 2025, I gained over 200 followers for the club and from April - May, gained over 70,000 post views, with many of those reaching non-followers to expose them to our organization during the first half of my term.

August 2025 marked the start of the second half of my executive term. I continued to utilize the strategy I developed in January to keep an consistent theme to the Madison Business Society Instagram. By the end of my term I official doubled the following of the organization’s Instagram since the start of my term. I also multiplied the profile views compared to how many we had in April 2025.

Golf Outing 2025

On April 13th, 2025, I helped carry out Madison Business Society’s second Annual Golf Outing hosted by Heritage Oaks Golf Course

I started planning for the event back in February in order to reach a goal of fulfilling al 18 Hole Sponsors and a Title Sponsor for the event

Hole Sponsors were worth $150 in exchange for a Hole Sign, their logo posted on all promotional social media posts for the event, and a free event t-shirt with their logo on it.

The Title Sponsor position was worth $750 in exchange for the same benefits as a Hole Sponsor, but they also got a banner and 2 free tickets for the tournament.

All communications to recruit sponsors were through email, or Instagram Direct Message, and attached were these fliers:

While I was busy focusing on sponsorships, I recruited a team of other members within MBS to create a Golf Outing Committee. I divided everyone into groups and gave them duties and deadlines to carry out for their specific roles on time.

The committee consisted of a team of nine other members who volunteered to fit positions such as Operations, Digital Media Coordinator, , Raffle Team, Finance, Sponsorship Engagement, and Marketing & Merchandise.

Role Descriptions

The event was very successful and I raised over $2,800 for Madison Business Society in four months.

I designed a series of merchandise using Adobe Illustrator and free fonts from Adobe Fonts. All merchandise shown below was sold through a group storefront using Fresh Prints. A total of over 75 items were purchased.
